I’m just wondering: Do you guys prefer the texture I use on the character colors now? Or the one I was using back in the last pages of chapter one?
I’d love to hear your opinions!
I honestly find it a little odd, but it’s a stylistic choice I’m not entitled to make for you, and I’ll enjoy the comic anyhow.
I like the new style, it’s easier to see action (for my old eyes). Also, looks darker but that’s not a problem.
Honestly? I kinda like the new texture more. It looks more… defined? I dunno drawings.
Both are good, but I prefer the older version.
Also, the colors on the website itself are now really weird. The background is white, but so are all the links. So you have to hover over them (which turns them pink) to be able to see them.
Ahh, sorry about that. That should be fixed now.
I like the older version as well. The textures on the clothing in the new version are really calling way to much attention to themselves, while the skin tones in the new version seem washed out in comparison. In the old version, it was the other way around, which I think is as it should be.
Both textures have their charms…I like the newer, smoother version for regular strips. Maybe keep the colored-pencil texture for pinups/desktop wallpapers/special pages/etc.?
Frankly I enjoy that the style changes. Both have their pros and cons, and it’d be nice to see them used in different ways for when they would best bring out a scene. Also having the style flip now and then is pretty interesting. But pretty much everyone else actually chose, I kinda lopped in the middle. So I’m indecisive. Look at the way the comments are tipping, and take into account what you want.
